Hi! I'm still alive and I have good news to my wife - honey, I'm going to see you soon because I successfully passed CCIE Security written exam and recertified as a CCIE for the next 2 years. So no more "I'm busy" talks at home :)
P.S. I was close. Two weeks until suspension. :D

As one of my collegue said Cisco has a Weird stuff on the CCO and seems to me the stuff is really weird (i.e. unusual). And in the same time very creative, because we can really enjoy flash animation and music and cisco's sense of humor there. The stuff talks about some event planned on March 4th, where the Cisco's VIPs will introduce something... e-r-r.. new? I've heard some rumours about the event and even got some insider information but the guy wasn't sure on it. Anyway, the rumours said we'll get new routers soon. Something that fills emtyness in between 7200 and 7600/6500 boxes. Let's wait and see :)

Last Friday, wandering on the CCO, I found wonderful white paper on Catalyst 6500 architecture. It seems that document is pretty fresh, at least it was made (or updated) at late December of '07. Document describes all hardware aspects of 6500's and it's definitely worth to read if you want to know more about what PFC, DFC, MSFC cards are.

Hi! I keep spending my spare time for the geek things. Some configs are added to the Config Page. Most of them were written in February of 2006 during preparation for lab . They are a bit out-dated and not very user-friendly but might be used as a good starting point and 'copy-paste' working example. To be continued.
